Zagreb Film Festival - Summer Stage Tuškanac
Starry sky over you and Zagreb Film Festival movies ahead: on a large canvas Summer Stage Tuškanac!
From Monday, July 17th to Sunday, July 23th at the Summer Stage Tuškanac, Zagreb Film Festival is being hosted: as the audience is waiting for the upcoming edition of the ZFF (to be held from November 11 to 19, 2017), they will present us some top editions from the distribution of the Zagreb Film Festival, in the unique night-time setting of the summer cinema, near the forest refreshment of the Dubravka road.
The program of ZFF's guest's films includes the flamboyant French-Iceland comedy 'Project: Together' that accompanies the loving accidents of shy Samir who falls in love with the Agath ski instructor. There is also a Swiss-French animated hit 'My Life as a Zucchini' that nearly won an Oscar. You can also watch the bitterly sweet Czech humor drama about the death in the family 'Home care', and a fun family movie "New kid" that provides a fresh and charming view of the nightmare of all teenagers-to be a new kid in the classroom.
The audience will also be able to enjoy the movie 'The happiest day in the life of Ollija Mäkija', the true story of a Finnish boxer who for the sake of love gave up on glory, and in Belgian drama 'After Love' directed by Joachim Lafosse, the inexhaustible and intelligent study of a broken human relationship, empathy and humor.
And if the summer temperatures become too high, the movie refreshment will bring the unconventional portrait of the famous Chilean poet and Nobel laureate ('Neruda'), signed by the most prestigious Latin American director of today - Pablo Larrain. You uncover Neruda as a passionate leftist who, because of the conflict with dominant politics, is persecuted in his homeland. The title role is known by Chilean actor Luis Gnecco, and inspector who obsessively seeks for Nerud is interpreted by Gael Garcia Bernal.
You can buy tickets for 25 kn at the cash register of Europa and on the cash desk of the Summer Stage of Tuškanac, Dubravka Street b. (The cashier opens on an hour and a half before the start of the screening).
