Open-air Summer cinema Tuškanac is usually held in July, with the help of city of Zagreb. This summer audience was able to watch European movies, some of which are well known, like Irish romance „Brooklyn“ or animated movie „The Little Prince“. Entrance is always free. You can find more information about art and culture in Zagreb by following Lobagola's diary.

Zagreb Upper Town is home of another open-air cinema – Summer cinema Gradec. This cinema is open from 25 July until 4 Septmber and movies are shown each day, even when the weather is rainy. Organizers are proud because they have never, in seven years of cinema, cancelled projection. On St. Katarina Square, which is exact location of this summer cinema, you can watch European, including Croatian, movies. Even though entrance is free, it is recomended to reserve your seat by buying a coupon that costs 15 KN and can be changed for a drink during the movie.

In September, before we finally say goodbye to summer, you can enjoy movies while eating food from some of the most famous restaurants in Zagreb. Food Film Festival Zagreb, held on the grass in Park Zrinjevac, in the city centre, combines movies in which food has an important role with many stands that offer tasty meals.
