Folk costumes through the lens of Toše Dabac
If you want to immerse yourself in a part of the history of Croatian and surrounding areas we recommend that you do so in the photo exhibition of Toše Dabac.
Not far from Lobagola B&B, in Etno Art Gallery, are hidden 32 photographs that are rarely published and therefore less known to experts and fans of costumes. Beside photographs of folk costumes from various Croatian regions, the exhibition contains photographs of the costumes from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.
Objective of the exhibition is to show the importance of the role of documentary photography during the investigation and reconstruction of folk costumes. Exposed photos will be complemented by parts of the costumes from the collection.
The exhibition is open until April 13 and can be seen weekdays 10:00 to 16:00, and on Wednesdays 10:00 to 18:00. The entrance is free so do not miss the opportunity to get to know a part of history.
