Located on the King Tomislav Square, the Art Pavilion is one of Zagreb's landmarks you cannot miss! This gorgeous building was built at the same time as the main railway station by famous architects Fellner & Helmer. Currently it's run by Mrs Stošić, who made a big turnaround regarding the position of the gallery in art circles throughout Europe.
Since it was opened in 1898, the building of the Art Pavilion has proudly served as the venue for numerous events. Currently it hosts artworks by Joan Miró in the exhibition "Masterpieces from the Foundation Maeght". Through his forty artworks, this famous Catalan artist is presented for the first time not only to Croatian audience, but also to the whole region of South East Europe.
Enjoy great art in the Art Pavilion from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 am-20 pm. Check their website for more info and prices.
